Reeves Studios is a UL-listed, full-service art and design studio in Phoenix, Arizona, that executes large-scale lighting installations pushing the boundaries of neon and light-based sculpture. Founded by Lily Reeves in 2019, Reeves Studios operates as a UL-listed and NEC-compliant lighting studio with a mission of producing high-quality, original artwork, specializing in traditional glass neon lighting systems. About the Role We need a Studio Manager who can take a busy, hands-on creative environment and turn it into an organized, well-oiled machine: someone who thrives on structure, anticipates problems before they happen, and can move fluidly between multiple projects with ease. We are looking for someone who is able to work with little supervision, who can spearhead projects and turn the creative directors’ visions to life. The right person is highly organized with a fabrication or fine art background and a deep understanding of fabrication processes. Are you a natural problem-solver? Responsibilities Studio Operations & Leadership Keep the studio organized, on schedule, and running smoothly day to day Project Management: track timelines, budgets, and deliverables Maintain project timelines and employee calendar for Reeves Studios Create and maintain training manuals and onboarding materials for studio employees Help create and update standard operating procedures and artwork paperwork Handle administrative paperwork and recordkeeping related to the studio’s UL license Inventory cataloguing Spearhead a small team Sales, Client communications Manage procurement and vendor relationships Assist with budgeting and quoting jobs Track project expenses and labor; compile reports on completed jobs, including annual reports Process payroll E-Commerce & Digital Presence Own e-commerce operations and day-to-day website maintenance and updates Maintain price lists and sales records Maintain a database of works on consignment Archiving & Content Creation Capture video and photography for Reeves Studios’ social media and product listings, and help maintain the Reeves Studios social media accounts including instagram, pinterest, facebook, and tiktok What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in a creative operations environment or small business setting College Degree in art, design, or photography strongly preferred Working understanding of fabrication processes Exceptional problem-solving skills and sound independent judgment Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with the following is a plus: E-commerce and website platforms Grant writing / sales / procurement Graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Photography + cinematography Budget tracking and reporting Details Schedule: Full-time, in-office position Location: Phoenix, AZ Pay: ~$30/hour, depending on experience and skill Start Date: October 1st #J-18808-Ljbffr ARTS COMMISSION
