This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while gaining valuable experience.The Associate Attorney is responsible for handling bankruptcy matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the bankruptcy process on behalf of our clients.Duties & Responsibilities:Preparation, review, and approval of bankruptcy related pleadings.Handle all aspects of bankruptcy matters including Proof of Claims, Motions for Relief, Objections, Responses to Objections, Payment Change Notices, Settlements and Adversary Proceedings.Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings.Regular client meetings/updates.Other duties and special projects as assigned.RequirementsJuris Doctorate.Licensed and in good standing with the Maryland and Virginia State Bars.0-3 years bankruptcy experience.Qualified applicants must reside in Baltimore, Maryland or Alexandria,Virginia.Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
